Objectives:
Students will create a poem using the template in this lesson plan.
Student will create a digital story that is a "representation" of their poem using the storyboard template in this lesson plan.
Students will create digital stories from their poems and artwork using the online tool Little Bird Tales.
Time: Three 40 minute class periods.
Tell students that they will create a poem and a digital story as part of this lesson.
Share personal "I AM From" poem with the class.
Display and discuss them template with students.
Display and discuss the story board template with students.
Ask students to fill out a parent email address request.
