Macon East Academy Library is used by a lot of students. GOOD BEHAVIOR IS IMPORTANT. Here is what you should do to help everyone enjoy our library together.
1. Speak quietly in the library.
2. Be respectful and considerate of everyone in the library. (Staff and Students)
3. Treat the books and other materials with care.
4. Always use a shelf marker when looking for books.
5. Return books on time. (Books are loaned for 1 week.)
6. No food, drink, or candy in the library.
7. Students may visit the library to check out books, read, or study when the library is open.
8. iPads may be used in the library during non-class hours to read ebooks/ibooks, listen to audio books, or use school/teacher approved apps.)
9. Students must use headphones when working with the iPad in the library.
10. When the library door is closed, do not enter the the library.
CONSEQUENCES
1. Student will be asked to correct behavior.
2. Student will be temporarily removed from the learning group.
2. Student will receive a conduct check.
3. Student will be asked to go back to their class.
